
Ms. Reabetsoe Sehobai is an energy enthusiast from Lesotho and an MSc Sustainable Energy candidate at the National University of Lesotho. Her work centers on power systems planning and the integration of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and hydropower. She is also a gender manager in Lesotho for SOLTRAIN+, where she promotes women’s participation in sustainable energy and STEM with the aim of advancing gender diversity and inclusivity through capacity building, career guidance, and mentorship activities. Reabetsoe has practical experience in techno economic assessments of clean energy projects, energy audits in the hospitality sector and community focused energy literacy activities. She recently had research abstracts accepted for presentation at the S-ACCESS conference in Spain and the ISEC conference in Austria, both scheduled for April 2026. With a background in electronics engineering, she is passionate about advancing inclusive and climate resilient energy systems in the SADC region.
