
Ms. Nosipho Simelane Dlamini is a distinguished renewable energy leader with over 18 years of experience at the forefront of Eswatini’s energy transition. Recently celebrated in the 2025 African Power & Energy Elites as one of the continent’s most unique energy leaders, she serves as Research and Renewables Engineer at Eswatini Electricity Company. In this role, she drives national projects that open the market for private investment, directly supporting the adoption of captive power solutions that enable agricultural and commercial sectors to enhance competitiveness, reduce emissions, and achieve energy resilience.
Holding a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Renewable Energy and Sustainability, Nosipho brings deep technical expertise to her work. An alumna of the International Visitor Leadership Program, she applies global insights to regional energy challenges. Beyond her technical contributions, she is a certified mentor through GWNET and SACREE for advancing women in sustainable energy. She is deeply committed to developing the next generation, challenging young people to become the architects who solve Africa’s energy and infrastructure challenges.
