Ms. Nadia Taobane is a Lead Energy Specialist focusing on developing regional trade in Southern Africa while leading the energy portfolio in Namibia for the World Bank. Her work focuses on energy transition programs across multiple markets, supporting sustainable and bankable deployment of renewables and green hydrogen and derivatives, mobilization of private capital, energy access and regional trade as well as maximization of the associated socio-economic benefits. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2018, Nadia was managing the project development & project finance team of the renewable energy public procuring entity of Morocco. She has a dual background financial and legal/tax, in addition to her admission to the Paris Bar.
