Mr. Zwelibanzi Sapula is a prominent figure in development finance and infrastructure, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the SADC Development Finance Resource Centre. He has held key roles at Development Bank of Southern Africa, Presidential Infrastructure Coordinating Commission, and National Empowerment Fund. Sapula has also contributed to nuclear energy projects at the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation. His notable achievements include transforming Busamed Hospital Group into South Africa’s largest black-owned hospital group, launching a Student Housing Program, and establishing the National Water Partnership Office. As Chair of Sustainable Infrastructure Development Symposium South Africa, he has shaped South Africa’s broadband strategy, promoting initiatives in broadband expansion, satellite communications, and digitization of national records. A devoted mentor and committed to youth development, he actively participates in City Life Church’s children’s ministry. He holds an MBA from University of Cape Town and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from University of Pretoria.
