Mr. Victor Utedzi is a highly accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in energy and infrastructure development, primarily across SubSaharan Africa. Drawing on his extensive background in investment banking, Victor has forged successful partnerships with international developers, governmental bodies, and financial institutions to manage complex power projects in more than 15 countries. His expertise spans a diverse range of energy initiatives, including hydroelectric, thermal, solar, and wind power.
In his role as Head of Operations at ATC, Victor oversees a dynamic portfolio featuring 25 MW of operational capacity, the ongoing construction of 160 MW of photovoltaic solar and hydroelectric power plants, and a robust development pipeline exceeding 700 MW. A CFA charterholder and proud alumnus of the London School of Economics, Victor is widely acknowledged as a leading expert in Africa’s energy sector, making substantial contributions to its growth and sustainability.
