Key Experince highlights and Achievements: 1) Currently, positioned as Head of Energy
Efficiency and Conservation Section at national level. Some projects achieved include; the National Energy Efficiency Strategy, Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for distribution transformers and cooling appliances,the Measurement Verification & Enforcement for cooling appliances for Botswana. 2) At regional level: Focal person for EELA regional project under SACREEE and developed the SADC Renewable Energy and Energy Efficienct Status report, harmonised the MEPS for lighting and cooling appliances, energy labelling for cooling and developed the regional e-waste management guidelines. 3) At continental level: Focal person for the formulation of the African Energy Efficiency Strategy and the African Energy Transition Strategy & Action Plan under AFREC/AU and also developed the National Deep Decarbonisation Parthways for Botswana thereafter. Educational Background: 1) Masters in Engineering (Carbon Emission Planning and Solar PV System Design for Office Buildings) 2) Post Graduate Certificate in Engineering 3) Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
