Mr. Isaiah D Nyakusendwa is a Renewable Energy Consultant on rooftop, ground mounted and mini grids for solar and mini hydro power projects. Founder and CEO of Celfre Energy (Private) Limited which is into the provision of affordable and quality renewable energy solutions for productive use for smallholder farmers. Chairman of the Renewable Energy Association of Zimbabwe (REAZ) – an umbrella body for renewable energy sector players. A member of the GET.pro Steering Committee and Zimbabwe Joint SDG Fund Programme Steering Committee.
Mr. Nyakusendwa has sat on present and past national and regional committees on policy and standards on renewables, energy efficiency and climate change. He has been active in the sector development, policy formulation, investment promotion, awareness raising, promotion of quality and affordable renewable energy technologies uptake. A cattle and pig farmer and an ardent conservationist as well having worked with IUCN, IUCN ESARO and UNESCO MAB programme.
