Mr. Dean Lameck Musukwa is a senior renewable energy consultant with over 22 years of industrial experience (with 15 years dedicated to the energy sector). He is specialized in wind resource assessment, as well as hydropower and solar PV feasibility studies. He is currently a Senior Consultant – Projects & Consultancy at Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre (KGRTC), where he has led and reviewed wind power feasibility studies, wind mast site selection and installation, wind resource data analysis, and wind farm technical-economic assessments. His wind expertise is supported by advanced professional training in wind resource assessment and wind farm design using WindPRO, factory acceptance and deployment of wind measurement masts, and extensive regional training delivery on wind project development. Dean is currently a PhD researcher in Renewable Energy Engineering focusing on assessment of wind modelling methods. He has supported utilities, governments, and private power developers on capacity building in wind power project development.
