Ms. Cliftoline (Cliffy) Nauses is a seasoned Banking and Development Finance professional with over 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, gained through roles at First National Bank (FNB) and the Development Bank of Namibia. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma and an MPhil in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch and is a registered Chartered Development Finance Analyst.
During her tenure at FNB, Cliffy played a key role in Commercial Property Finance, where she was responsible for originating and structuring a range of property development transactions.
In her current capacity as Acting Chief Investments Officer, Cliffy Nauses is driving the Development Bank of Namibia’s mission to foster national progress by supporting transformative projects across key sectors. The DBN is proactively advancing Namibia’s economic development by financing infrastructure, supporting entrepreneurship, and enabling sustainable growth through strategic investment initiatives.
