Dr. Constance van Zuydam is a sustainability specialist and registered professional environmental scientist with over two decades of experience in renewable energy, climate change, and environmental management. She holds a PhD and MBA, complemented by international certifications as a lead auditor in ISO standards, and has worked extensively in the electricity sector in Eswatini. As an Environmental Officer at the Eswatini Electricity Company, she has championed initiatives that drive regional economic growth through clean energy and energy efficiency. Dr. van Zuydam also serves as Country Chairperson for the Renewable Energy Association of Eswatini and African Women in Energy and Power (AWEaP), where she advocates for inclusive participation in the energy transition. Her leadership in benchmarking, environmental impact assessments, and sustainable energy strategies positions her as a key contributor to advancing energy efficiency for a sustainable future in Eswatini.
