With a proven track record across sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy, MSME development, sustainable finance, and healthcare systems, she has led innovative initiatives that drive inclusive economic growth and strengthen resilience to climate change.
She holds a Bachelor of Technology in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Master’s in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa. Her academic foundation is further enriched by certifications and executive training in Internation Organization Management, program management, Impact management social protection, gender economics (Equanomics), blockchain for good, and foresight and signal mapping underscoring a commitment to interdisciplinary learning and systems thinking.
Irish brings strength in innovation leadership and system design, having led the development and implementation of integrated solutions that address complex, cross-sectoral challenges. Her approach combines strategic foresight, partnership building, and practical design to build scalable models that deliver impact across communities and sectors.
Currently serving as the Portfolio Lead for the Sustainable Inclusive Green Growth portfolio at UNDP Namibia, she oversees a multidisciplinary team delivering transformative projects in food systems, health, climate resilience, and green growth. In this role, she provides technical oversight, strategic direction, and policy advisory services to the Government of Namibia, the private sector, and development partners ensuring alignment with national priorities and global goals.
