
Mr. Emmanuel Aziebor is the Senior Regional Director for Africa at CLASP, where he leads efforts to position energy-efficient appliances as essential infrastructure for economic opportunity and climate mitigation across the continent. With over 12 years of experience in energy access and renewable energy markets in Africa, he works at the intersection of policy, finance, and innovation, shaping how energy access translates to inclusive economic opportunity across Africa.
Emmanuel has led multi-country clean energy and climate initiatives, structured energy sector transactions, designed carbon credit programs, and mobilized partnerships with governments, donors, private foundations, and industry leaders across Africa. Before joining CLASP, he held global leadership roles at Mercy Corps, advancing renewable energy market development. Emmanuel holds a master’s degree in energy and sustainable management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Ghana Business School.
