His Royal Highness Prince Lonkhokhela is the Honourable Senator and Minister for Natural Resources and Energy in the Kingdom of Eswatini, overseeing national resources and services in water, minerals, energy, land administration, and valuation. He previously served as CEO of the Eswatini National Provident Fund for 24 years, leading the national retirement savings scheme.
The Prince began his career at the Central Bank of Eswatini, working in Internal Audit, Research, Forex, and Development Finance over 16 years. He holds an MBA and a Postgraduate Certificate in International Finance from New Hampshire College, a BA in Economics from Boston University, and additional qualifications from Vincennes University, Harvard University, and Stanford University. He serves on several boards, including Montigny, Happy Valley, Old Mutual, IDCE, Eswatini Mobile, and Tisuka Taka Ngwane, with previous roles at Eswatini Railways and others.
