        1. Solar Thermal and Energy Efficiency Facility
        The Palm Hospitality Group operates both solar thermal and photovoltaic (PV) systems. The thermal system uses flat-plate collectors, providing each hotel block with 24 m² of collector area and 2,500 litres of hot water storage, supported by an LPG backup. The 160 kW PV system comprises 400 solar panels (400 W each), with 92 installed on carports and 308 on rooftops. A 110 kW grid-tied inverter from SMA Solar Technology supplies electricity to the hotel.

        2. Biogas Facility
        The Lanforce Energy Biogas Initiative features household-scale biodigesters that provide clean cooking energy for local communities. Each 8 m³ digester measures 2.3 m wide, 3 m long, and 0.8 m deep. The project, implemented in partnership with Wild Horizons and the Jafuta Foundation, reduces dependence on firewood and helps mitigate human–wildlife conflict near protected areas.

        Join us for the Inaugural SADC SEW Golf Day at Elephant Hills Golf Club, Victoria Falls, on Friday, 27 February 2026, featuring a full day of golf, high-level networking, and an evening prize-giving cocktail with regional dignitaries and sponsors. The programme includes morning registration and warm-up, an 18-hole tournament with competitions and on-course activations, followed by an awards ceremony and networking cocktail into the evening.
