Ms. Memory Mashingaidze is an investment professional with extensive energy and infrastructure experience across sub-Saharan Africa. Having worked in the audit and financing sector at KPMG, Old Mutual in Zimbabwe, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Public Investment Corporation of South Africa (PIC) in South Africa. At PIC she headed investment of over fourteen renewable energy projects with a total capacity of over 1GW in South Africa and Sub-Sahara Africa.
In the recent past Memory has co-founded two renewable energy companies, Great Zimbabwe Hydro, that have developed a 5MW hydro power project, currently in operation at Lake Mutirikwi, Masvingo, Zimbabwe and Tatanga Energy that is focused on developing energy projects in Zimbabwe and Zambia. Memory is a qualified Chartered Accountant (registered in both Zimbabwe and South Africa).
