Ms. Granny Lesiamang is a climate advocate and entrepreneur passionate about access to sustainable energy, particularly clean cooking and climate resilience in sub-Saharan Africa. As co-founder of Clauseph Biofuels, she leads a clean cooking technologies company that tackles energy poverty and land degradation in Botswana, specifically in rural and underserved communities. She’s a notable speaker, having been engaged at various events like the Student energy Summit, Youth Energy Summit, and International Vienna Climate and Energy Forum, where she was part of discussions on access to clean cooking, and shared insights on localized climate adaptation initiatives. Granny also leads programs for the Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO) Botswana, and is also a policy lead and technical partner for the International Clean Cooking Ambassadors Training (ICCAT) program 2024.
