Ms. Aisma Vitina

    Ms. Aisma Vitina is the Head of APRA Secretariat at the Danish Energy Agency, and leads technical assistance activities towards APRA member countries. Aisma’s professional experience includes Lead Regulatory Advisor role with Ørsted, a renewable energy developer, as well as Chief Advisor position leading development engagements on power system modelling and long-term scenario analyses within the international cooperations at the Danish Energy Agency. Aisma has been engaged in the development of the Eastern Africa Power Pool (EAPP) Master Plan during her position with Ea Energy Analyses, an energy consultancy, and has had extensive experience in large-scale renewable energy integration analyses. Aisma’s international developmental project experience includes projects in Scandinavia, the Baltic Sea Region, the UK, China, Eastern Africa, Mexico, South Africa, Ukraine and Vietnam. Aisma has also been co-author and contributor to research publications, journal articles and analysis reports, including publications within the auspices of IEA Wind Task 26 – Cost of Wind Energy, the Vietnam Energy Outlook reports, as well as an article in the Energy Policy journal. Aisma holds a MSc degree in Economics, specializing in Management of Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment, from the Norwegian School of Economics.
