Mr. S’khumbuzo S. Tsabedze is the Chief Executive Officer of Eswatini Energy Regulatory Authority. A statutory body established to Regulate the Energy Industry and responsible Electricity Supply Industry and downstream Petroleum in the Kingdom of ESwatini.
In the past, Mr. Tsabedze has served in various executive positions in Eswatini Electricity Company for a combined period spanning 13 years. He has been instrumental in leading transformation process within the Electricity supply industry including establishing the marketing and commercial department, electricity tariff setting and pricing, policy development, establishing performance management systems and developing national standards and performance agreements for the utility and government. He worked for Eswatini Water Services Corporation (EWSC) as the Strategic Services Director, and has various consultancy work on Performance Improvement Plans in African Water Utilities in the Tanzania, Zambia and Nigeria. Among other responsibilities, Mr. Tsabedze currently serves as the Chairperson of the Regional Electricity Regulators Association (RERA).
