Mr. Edwin Khethiwe is the Principal Energy Engineer at the Department of Energy, Botswana, with over 13 years of experience in project management, energy engineering, and technology commercialization. He leads key renewable energy initiatives, including the Biogas Project and Biofuel Production Project, in collaboration with partners like the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and University of Botswana.
Mr. Khethiwe holds a Master of Philosophy in Engineering (Energy) and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Botswana. He has published research on biodiesel and presented at international conferences in Thailand and the USA. His professional certifications include PRINCE2 Project Management and Occupational Health & Safety.
