Dr. Mary Njenga is a Research Scientist, Bioenergy, at World Agroforestry (ICRAF) which merged with Centre for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and she is based in Nairobi, Kenya. At CIFOR-ICRAF she co-lead the Refugee Hosting Engagement Landscape (EL) programme in Africa and lead bioenergy work in Africa in the circular bioeconomy (CBE) transformative partnership platform (TPP) and climate change energy and low carbon development research theme. She is an adjunct lecturer with Wangari Maathai Institute for Peace and Environmental Studies, University of Nairobi and an Affiliate with Gender Equity through Agricultural Research and education (GEARE), Ag Sciences Global, Penn State University. She has over 200 publications.
