The 8th SOLTRAIN+ Conference will take place at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC), Botswana, hosted by the Clean Energy Research Centre (CERC) of the University of Botswana. The conference is part of SADC Sustainable Energy Week (December 2-6, 2024), bringing together stakeholders from across the SADC region and beyond.
We invite participants to join the SOLTRAIN+ sessions to engage with experts, explore solar thermal technologies, and witness the impact of the SOLTRAIN initiative, which has been driving progress since 2009. This year’s highlights include new innovative installations for hospitals, comparison studies between solar thermal and Power2Heat solutions, and updates on solar thermal and renewable heating activities across several countries and worldwide, our efforts to bridge the gender gap in the industry including success stories.
