Ms. Samah Elsayed is a Programme Officer at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), an intergovernmental organisation that supports countries in their transition to a sustainable energy future. At IRENA she leads activities related to renewable energy education, including the Energy Transition Education Network (ETEN), a new cooperation platform to accelerate education and skill building for the transition. Other areas of focus involve the development of renewable energy curriculum and teaching resources as well as the delivery of capacity building for students and young professionals. Prior to joining IRENA, Ms. Elsayed worked at the World Resources Institute (WRI) as a research analyst.
